HIAB Services UK works to recognised industry standards for lifting, transport and safety — giving our clients across England, Scotland and Wales complete confidence in every job.
When you hire a HIAB, you are trusting an operator to lift heavy, valuable loads safely — often on busy sites and public roads. Accreditation is how we prove that trust is well placed.
Our work is underpinned by ALLMI-accredited operator training, FORS Bronze fleet accreditation, membership of Logistics UK (formerly the FTA), CPCS plant competence and a fleet of genuine HIAB loader cranes. Together these cover the three things that matter most: safe lifting, a well-run fleet and competent, qualified people.
It also means we are equipped for work where accreditation is a contractual requirement — including major construction, infrastructure, local authority and utility projects.
Fully insured. Comprehensive public liability and goods-in-transit cover on every load, every journey — alongside the accreditations below.
ALLMI (the Association of Lorry Loader Manufacturers and Importers) is the UK's only trade association dedicated to the lorry loader industry, and it sets the benchmark for operator training. Our HIAB operators are trained in line with ALLMI standards — covering safe slinging, signalling and crane operation — so every lift is planned and carried out correctly.
FORS is the nationally recognised accreditation scheme that raises standards in fleet safety, efficiency and environmental protection. Holding FORS Bronze means our vehicles, drivers and management systems have been independently audited against a demanding set of requirements — and it is frequently a condition of working on construction and infrastructure contracts.
We are members of Logistics UK — the business group formerly known as the Freight Transport Association (FTA). Membership keeps us current with UK transport legislation, compliance and best practice, from driver hours and vehicle standards to operator licensing, so the service you receive is fully road-legal and professionally run.
CPCS is one of the most widely recognised competence card schemes in UK construction. CPCS-carded operators demonstrate they have been trained and assessed to operate plant — including lorry loaders — safely on site. It is exactly the assurance that main contractors and site managers look for before allowing a crane onto their project.
"HIAB" has become the everyday word for a lorry-mounted loader crane — but it is also a manufacturer, and the original. Our fleet runs genuine HIAB cranes, engineered for precision, reach and lifting power. Pairing the right machine with a properly trained operator is what lets us handle everything from a single cabin to multi-tonne steelwork.
Trained operators and properly maintained HIAB cranes mean every lift is planned, controlled and carried out to recognised standards.
FORS and CPCS are often mandatory on major sites. Our accreditations let you place us on construction, infrastructure and public-sector work without hold-ups.
The same standards apply wherever we work — England, Scotland and Wales. Distance never compromises how the job is done.
Comprehensive public liability and goods-in-transit insurance sits alongside our accreditations on every job.
