Our HIAB rigid lorries are the workhorses of local and regional delivery — manoeuvrable enough for town centres and restricted sites, capable enough for the full range of construction and commercial work.
The HIAB rigid lorry is the most versatile and widely used vehicle in our fleet. We operate three rigid models — the 558, 658 and 858 — covering lift capacities up to around 18 tonnes at minimum radius (model-dependent, reducing with reach), payloads from 5.5 to 10 tonnes, and crane reaches from 14.5 to 19.5 metres. Rigid hire is available for one-off days, weekly contract and long-term deployment throughout the UK.
The manoeuvrability of a rigid vehicle makes it the preferred choice for inner-city deliveries, restricted-access construction sites and residential work where an artic or wagon and drag would be impractical. Our rigid fleet handles steel deliveries, cabin transport, block and brick packs, machinery moves and container lifts across England, Scotland and Wales.
Lifts up to ~10 tonnes at min radius — carries up to 10 tonnes — reach to 14.5 metres. The versatile everyday workhorse for standard construction deliveries.
Lifts up to 10.9 tonnes at min radius — carries up to 8 tonnes — reach to 17 metres. Heavier lifts and longer reach for demanding construction and steel work.
Lifts up to 18 tonnes at min radius — carries up to 5.5 tonnes — reach to 19.5 metres. The longest reach rigid in our fleet for complex long-reach lifts.
Ideal for restricted sites, weight-limited bridges and inner-city locations inaccessible to artics and wagon and drag combinations.
Efficient for multi-drop regional runs — one vehicle, multiple delivery points, one operator.
Nationwide throughout England, Scotland and Wales — one-off and contract hire available.
Lifts up to ~10t at min radius, carries 10t, 14.5m reach — the ideal everyday construction and delivery rigid.
Lifts up to 10.9t at min radius, carries 8t, 17m reach — heavier lifts and longer reach for demanding projects.
Lifts up to 18t at min radius, carries 5.5t, 19.5m reach — maximum reach for complex long-reach lifts.
