It lifts up to 10.9 tonnes at minimum radius, carries up to 8 tonnes of payload and has a crane reach of up to 17 metres — making it the right machine for heavier construction materials, long structural steel work and multi-lift operations where a smaller crane would need repositioning.
The HIAB 658 is a particularly strong choice for steel erection projects, where multiple long RSJ or column lifts are needed at different reach positions on the same job. It is also frequently used for heavy precast concrete panels, piling rigs and large container placements.
