The HIAB 855 is a heavy-duty crane mounted on an 8-wheeler rigid lorry — built for the lifts that our standard rigid cranes cannot reach. With a lifting moment of approximately 91 tonne-metres (897 kNm), the 855 crane is rated to lift up to 18 tonnes close in, and still handles useful loads right out to its maximum hydraulic reach.
